New Friends....:)...

I am becoming richer day by day.........but please dont ask what my bank balance is....it will remain the same as it used to be when i was in IIT..........more than money ...the thing which can make me rich are my friends.....all thru my life i have been making very very good friends....first when i was in school...then in Mathrusri...then Tetra n Ramaiah...then IIT.....and now Poly is no different......

People over here are so good n so helpful.....both seniors and my batchmates.....as of now i will just mention the names of my new friends....n will introduce them to u later......

Short weekend in NYC

To continue with my previous blog......first of all lemme thanq all you guys for reading my prev blog patiently.....hee is the continuation....
I reached my friend's (Jaideep rajput....in case u know him).....but he currently is not in NY...he is doing his Internship in Pittsburgh........Shyam,who came to receive me at the airport dropped me at Jaideep's apartment and went to his apartment saying that he will be back in an hr and take us (me n karthik if u forgot) to his apartment for dinner......Amresh,who is one of Jaideep's room mate lended hi cell phone for us to call back home.......then we went to shyam's place and had some good dinner...he is really a very good cook.......
Next day we've been to School(from now on i will be using School metamorphically for our Univ...bcos here people call it School).....went to International Students office....to get enrolled......Carmen,who is the incharge over there is a very helpful lady....helped us complete all the formalties in no time....the she her self tok us to the Graduate centre.......done with formalities there........then went to Electrical engineering department but none of the profs are around as the summer semester just completed and they all are on a break.......the gal who sits at the helpdesk of EE dept was very cute....she is an indian from banagalore named Roshni....she was really sweet in helping with stuff.....
then since there was nothin left to do.......me n karthik went for window shopping.....here it is fun window shopping....bcos there wont be sales guys or gals giving looks which say "abe kabhi zindagi mein kareedha hai aisi cheez"......this was the first time i liked window shopping for he same reason.....then we returned back home and and found that our future room mate,a guy called Kiran from mumbai(but who basically happens to be from andhra).......then weall spent some time together......again in the nite we went to shyam's place........returned back at nite and had a nice sleep.......
next evening we went to see Manhattan....first we saw Brooklyn Brigde...and the place where Kal ho na ho was shot........then to "Ground Zero".......Financial Street,NYSE,Broadway n Wall Street ke Intersection pe TRINITY church(If u remember.... National Treasure).....then been to an Indian restaurant on Lexington Street......lekin wahan bhi khana ithna achcha nahi tha........uske baad movie dheke na plan tha...but i was very tired that we returned back........
next day was sunday.......we went for lunch at shyam's place again...had a great lunch.......and in the eve we decided about the courses and slept....
that ws the weekend........

Finally in USA

First of all lemme apologize to all u people bcos i could contact you before i left INDIA.......there are few resons for it.........please forgive me for the same.......here is what all happened from a ten days before my flight..... "It was friendshipday and i was out in the evening with my friends.....as these are the last few days for me in India i was eating all kinds of road side stuff.......pani puri...mirchi etc......they tasted great as usual.......the next morning i had headache and very high fever.......went to the doctor and took some medicine...but there was no result.....the situation became worse.....body pains...bla bla bla...the next day they injected glucose into my body......i was not able to eat all these days and became very weak......the next day the doctor doubted if its Jaundice......and sent me to a juandice Specialist....he saw the situation and told there is nothin like that....but am suffering from mumps...then i was very affraid......its just 5 days to go and whether i cud be able to go or not ani....there was a time when i even thought of deffering my admission to spring.........bcos of all this weeks sickness i cud not do my shopping or get my international driving license...cud not meet my friends........could not even call on of my very dearest friend on her Bday......Sorry for all this guys.........then finally i recovered after a week from the day i fell sick and i had 3 day left....i did my shopping on Aug 16th.......and the main thing of all is.....i dint get my ticket from travel agent even till auguest 16th while my day of flight wasAug 18th early hours.....i paid the whole amount and stuff...even then.....this was bcos my Ticket from Hyd to Mumbai was not confirmed and travel agent told me about this only on Aug 11th.......It was not confirmed even on Aug 17th......from Aug 17th morn around 8......i ahve been calling him almost every 15 mins.....and he was like...i will et the ticket for uin hr or so........and then he told me at around 2 in the noon that i have to leaveby Air Sahara tonite i mean on 17th nite at 9:30 to bombay...the everything was in a hurry and this is the reason i cud not call any one of you people...............i am really very very sorry again guys....... then my Airport Experience.....My friends......Vennela,Kishan,Kaddu and Pav came to the airport to see me off......along with my parents Grand parents and another Family Friend.....Then i checked in and weighed my luggage......it was 3 Kgs heavier than the allowed weight and i had to take out some stuff bcos of that.....felt bad......then finally its time to tell goodbye to family n friends...my mom was literally crying and dad kept in his tears in his eyes...........thats ws the first time i saw tears in his eyes.......felt really very very sentimental......then i took the flight to Mumbai.....it took and hr to fly fomr Hyd to Mumbai.......then after landing in Mumbai...i had to go fomr the domestic Airport to the International Airport.....the Airport people proveide free service for that....i reached international airport and had 5 hours for my flight......i called home to tell them that i reached safely.....then i went to a cyber cafe in the airport and surfed for some time...then checked in my luggage....then i went to the lounge and the costliest bfast of my life...it was of 130 rs....... Then i was searching for a guy named karthik who is also coming to the same univ as mine...he is also coming by the same flight and he was form chennai.....i finally met him just before borading the flight.We sat together till london......the flight was good....they screened the movie BLACK during this period.......the food which was served meanwhile was horrible.....i could not even foget the taste of this food till now....it was soooooo bad.......finaly we reached LONDON.....firt time i landed in a new nation.......we were not supposed to get out of the flight actually.....but bcos of some securit problems we were asked to get into the lounge of the airport and that was the first time i stepped my foot on a new country.......then after a couple of hours of halt we were asked to get back into the flight ....and then we started the trance atlantic flight.....now me and karthik had to seperately as the flight was full now......this time my neighbours were a Jamaican mom and daughter who came to London for shopping....most of the time during the flight from london to NY i was a sleep....finaly we landed in NY after a Flight of 7:10 hrs from london...the local time was 5:15 Pm..............got down in the airport....we happend to see Rishi kapoor at the Immigration clearance counter......It took us so long to get the Immigration clearance done bcos of some software problem ..............even the USofA is not perfect you see.......it took then an hour to get the systems repaired..........finally Immigration clearance was done and then we came out......took our luggage....and came out.....saw our friends who came to receive us........took a taxi to their place.....it charged 20$......reached home........... So Finally i reached to US of A.................... My Next posting will be about my trip to my univ and the weekend in Manhattan etc..........thanq guys for sparing your valuable time to read this....i am expecting alot of comments.....have a great day......take care love Saran
